Training on general understanding, knowledge and information related to installation and operation of heat meters was organized on September 11, 2020 in the conference hall of the Energy Regulatory Commission for the specialists in charge of infrastructure of the Investment, Development Policy and Planning Division of the Governor's Office of 21 aimags.
The Chairman of the Energy Regulatory Commission opened the training according to the program and informed the participants about the current situation in the energy sector and the importance of measuring thermal energy.
Lecturers from the University of Science and Technology and the National Center for Standardization and Metrology spoke on the basic concepts of heat meters, heat meters used in Mongolia, their requirements and standards, and procurement of heat meters from the State Procurement Agency. Ulaanbaatar Heating Network ”State Joint Stock Company provided detailed information on issues to be considered during the installation and operation of heat meters.
After the presentations, the open-ended questions and discussion were held.
Ikon, Ultrasonic and Sonometer, those who sell heat meters, were invited to give a brief introduction of their categories and features, distribute introductory materials, and explain the heat meters in real life.
