National energy efficiency action program of Mongolia

 In order to implement the Action Program of the Government of Mongolia for 2016-2020, and pursuant to the Article 10.3 of the Law of Mongolia on the Development Policy and Planning and the Article 5.1.2 of the Law of Mongolia on Energy Conservation, the Government of Mongolia RESOLVES hereby:

 1. To adopt "National Energy Efficiency Action Program" by Appendix.

 2. To assign P.Gankhuu, Acting Minister of Energy to approve the Implementation Plan of the Program within year of 2017, and to provide professional and methodological supervision and regulation to the implementation of the Program.

 3. To assign P.Gankhuu, Acting Minister of Energy, B.Choijilsuren, Acting Minister of Finance, Members of the Government, and the Governors of Capital City and Provinces to take financial measures to the implementation of the Program through integrating the objectives and activities of the Program into the main directions of the economic and social development on annual basis, allocating costs required to implement the Program at the national level into the state and local budget, and involving the Program into loans and aids from foreign countries and international organizations, and through engaging public and private partnership.

 4. To assign P.Gankhuu, Acting Minister of Energy and the Energy Regulatory Commission (A.Tleikhan) to provide integrated supervision and review to the implementation of the Program and report the implementation progress to the Government of Mongolia within the first quarter of each succeeding year.
